Born on the 12th of March 1975, married and a BA holder in Theatre Arts from University of Port Harcourt, worked with GEMS Broadcasting support as a marketing executive, then moved to IMS Advertising where he rose to the post of the Production Manager, currently Owuama Promise works as a producer/scriptwriter with dbs media ltd, Lagos.

As a producer, he has worked on various projects across the length and breadth of Nigeria, putting together marketing and communication documentaries for corporate clients like MTN Nigeria, CISCO, ERICSSON, Nigeria LNG, etc. He has also worked on features, Radio sports programs and TV series, among which is the program "Livin in Lagos", available at DISCOP 4. Before crossing over to TV production, he worked with an advertising consulting firm, working under one of Nigeria’s famed advertising gurus.

A seasoned producer/Director, who cut his production teeth with some of the biggest producers in the country, and has worked on such shows like Mnet’s “Tinsel” and “moments with mo”.
Mayowa is presently the chief executive of Phoenix vision, a leading multimedia production company in the country and is highly hailed for his ability to work under pressure.
The passion and love for creativity that subsumes Mayowa Oluyeba revved him to be one of the icons to reckon with in television production industry.
