AUDITIONS

Registration for auditions is via the application form on this website. Interested participants can also collect their forms from the project office or by sending an SMS request to a designated short code number to be announced soon. Forms will also be available at all branches of our partner banks, audition phases, location and dates will be posted shortly.

First Phase

Interested families will be expected to send in their names, location and family data through SMS to a short code to the organizers. Upon receiving their information, they will be replied immediately on the next step to follow. The families are to also obtain a form from an agreed location with a sum and fill it.

Second Phase

The families will be asked to scan the form upload it with their family portrait and single pictures of each member of the family with their bio-statistics to the project site. The pictures are not expected to be treated by any photographic soft ware. They must be true to nature. The pictures will help the audition panel to analyse the families’ photogenic appearance and composition before camera. After going through the various pictures and are satisfied that the family meets the project requirement, they are then invited on a date to meet with the auditioning panel.

Third Phase

This is when the chosen families meet physically with a panel of auditioners for a question and answer session. This is the proper audition where the six finalists will be drawn from.

Auditions will be in Phases.

PHASE 1:
Selection Phase with the pictures of the family
PHASE 2:
Short listing of successful families from the first phase
PHASE 3:
Final Selection. Here all successful families will be given a letter that is to be taken to their various place of work. This letter must be endorsed by the management of the participant's firm/company that they will allow the crew to shoot for the production. Audition will be in Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Kaduna, Enugu, Benin and FCT any other location that will suit the purpose. Auditions will look at how the couples met and what makes their family tick? Every member of the family MUST be present during the audition. Successful families will be contacted via calls and invited. They will be given the program time table. Out of the final audition, 6 families will emerge for the program

Bio-docu

When chosen the family will be given the program of event and they are expected to offer the program an opportunity to shoot a documentary of the family biography. This documentary is supposed to pry into the activities of each member of the family in relation to the concept.

Arrival

A date will be given to the participating family upon which they are expected to arrival at a given point in the host city where a vehicle will convey them to a waiting lounge before they proceed to the camp.

Camping

It will be of great value to have the camp constructed in a big warehouse that will be designed to suit the production. In this case an architect will be consulted to design the production set. In the camp there must be a central big kitchen and a big dinning to accommodate the entire family. It is a 24hrs a day filmed location. The only space that closes is the bathrooms. There need to be a separate control room unknown to the cast. Security cams can be cabled in the rooms. The security cameras are used to monitor the house mates and record. The camp house should contain:

  • Living Area for each Family
  • A spacious kitchen
  • A Long Dining Table
  • Bathroom(s)
  • Common Space or Play Ground
  • Phone Room/Diary Room
  • Control Room(s)
  • The Batphone
